January 2022 – Market Update
Wow demand for home ownership still remains very strong in January!
Let’s get in to the numbers
Single family home results:
Average price of a detached home was just over $1.7M = 28.3% increase
Average price of a semi detached home was just over $1.3 = 31.5% increase
Town homes average price was just over $1M = 34.8% increase
The condo segment results:
Overall, average sales price increased by 24.5%. Average price for January was 748K.
Overall the story for this month remains the same as I’ve been stating for the past months. We are still in a strong sellers market! So, if you were contemplating when to sell, NOW may be your best option!
